Workshops / The art of explaining
Thomas Heath – our training specialist – has devised a new course that tackles everything you need to know about effective written communications in five steps: outcome, audience, concept, structure and language.
He put it to the test with four days of pilot workshops for technical proposal writers at Aviva. And they loved it: feedback forms with ticks in all the right places and sincere use of the word 'inspirational'.
Filming / Heroic moves
He's also been working as a corporate interviewer for award-winning internet TV company Multichannel TV.

Radio / Autocue tales
Gita Raval – Echosix’s autocue specialist – gave the good listeners of Radio 4 an insight into the world of high-pressure speeches.
Gita spoke volubly on the PM programme on March 19th – without the aid of an autocue – about her scrolling experiences with the likes of Michael Jackson and Tony Blair. Suffice to say, the appearance has made her something of a celeb in the autocue world.University / Entrance teaser
Echosix's architectural insights have flown all the way to Japan.
Chuo University, based in Tokyo, used an excerpt from one of our books – 50 Great Adventures, Extraordinary Places and the People who Built Them – in its 2009 entrance examination. Find out more about the book.
